Zoeva Caramel Melange Palette: The pumpkin colour palette!

01:50

Hi! Welcome back to my blog. I'm Mireille.

Are you guys excited to see my thoughts on this palette? Cause I am very excited now and I can't wait to share with you guys how awesome is this palette!

I accidentally discovered this palette when I was window shopping at Sephora online. I never knew that Zoeva produces such great quality palette! (I thought they are only good at producing makeup brushes haha)

I was initially looking at their Plasir box which consist of 3 palettes. However, the colours of Caramel Melange overpowered the other two palette (Cocoa Blend and Blanc Fusion). Caramel Melange is so hard to get as it it always out of stock on the website. Ok..ok..i know I'm going too far =.=

Let's get started!

Oh....isn't the packaging beautiful? I can't resist it! This gold and warm brown colour really reminds me of fall. Although I live in a country without fall hahaha. It is sleek and compact which is a plus for storing.

It claims to have superior pigmentation, easy to blend and consist of vitamin E.

Well, I can't tell if it really contains vitamin E but the first two statement is true. It is very pigmented and easy to blend.

We know that matte shades are often harder to blend compare to the shimmers but this palette really surprises me. It blends like magic!

This is how it looks like once it's open. There are 10 shades in this palette. 6 matte shades, 3 shimmers, 1 matte with gold glitter. This is a warm tone palette. It is 1.5g for each pan.

Top from left: wax paper, universal delight, aftertaste, 182 degree celcius, liquid center
Bottom from left: alchemy, start soft, finish sensual, almost burnt, edible gem

The mattes are very pigmented with a powdery feel but does not have fall outs upon application.

The shimmers are really gorgeous! I live for them! They are very shimmery and they have minimal fall out (normal for shimmery shades) which is good enough.

Overall the shades are easy to blend and wear as they compliment each other really well. As for the pigmentation, it is no doubt very intense!

Doubt it? Let's take a look at my swatches on this palette.

These are the swatches for the colours on the top lane.

These are the swatches for the bottom lane.

They are really pigmented right?! I know after seeing the swatch are you guys wondering what is the difference between alchemy and start soft? Alchemy has more of a reddish tone brown while start soft is more of an orangey brown. Universal delight is my usual transition shade. It is also the only one shade with this buttery feel. The shimmer shades are not chunky which is surprising. I recommend applying using finger or a compact brush to prevent fall outs :)

Daily makeup look created using this palette.

I also found out that edible gem is similar to the shade sippy sippy in the Swamp Queen palette by Tarte in collaboration with Grav3yardgurl. I like the edible gem more than sippy sippy because it blends out nicely.

Pros:
Pigmented, affordable (USD26.5 on official website, RM 90.00 on Sephora website), long lasting, minimal fall out, compact

Cons:
No mirror :(

Verdict: 5/5 !!!!

Recommend? YES!

Repurchase? Yes. If I am able to finish it hahahaha
