Hey guys and girls!! I am back with another blog post!

Yep, you see from the title. I am going to talk about colour contact lens dupe for famous Korean contact lens brand---Olens and Lensme.

Many of you asked me why I always manage to find nice lenses and I decided to share with you guys a few of my personal findings.

I don't guarantee that they are 100% the same but I can say that they are quite similar on your eyes.

Olens

Spanish One Day Series

This series was endorsed by Jennie and Jisoo of Blackpink. Their lens was the daily lens type while Barbie Eyeslands' lens life span is three months.

As you can see from their shop's model photo, there are two more colours other than brown and grey. This series does not have any enlarging effect and the decorative pattern is very soft and subtle. So go ahead and pick your the colour you like! >.^

Russian Velvet Series

The Russian Velvet series was featured in Girl's Day MV I'll Be Yours. Russian Velvet Blue was the K-pop Idol's pick.

The velvet series comes in 4 different colours. My personal favourite is the brown colour as it is very natural, and can be worn without makeup. This is also another series without enlarging effect.

Blossom Series

The decorative pattern for this series is so so so prettayyyyyyy!!!!

It is the pattern of a flower and it comes in two colours.

This series has enlarging effect and the decorative effect is very strong. Thus, you might need some makeup to pull off this colour contact lens. Anyways, this is a very cute lens :D

Gold 3con Series

No iris enlargement, no crazy eye colour changing effect, I like it.

Just look at the on eye effect! They are seriously so gorgeous! I love how it doesn't enlarge the eyes but still give you that strong and confident eye look. Definitely stock up these before it runs out. It is the top seller in their shop.

Lensme

Qlo Series

Well I am sure that you guys and girls see this series floating on the internet pretty often. Many brands recreated this series.

This series also does not enlarge your iris. The decorative pattern resembles the galaxy with some specks of white being the stars. I can see why this decorative pattern is so popular due to the dreamy effect it delivers.

So, that's all of my findings. I mean not all of us is able to afford Olens or Lensme but we still want to have nice colour contact lens.

Barbie Eyesland sells their lens at RM 25 per pair and they have different discounts for every month. They also send out cute freebies which are very useful!

Soft and Confident Gaze Achieved with Barbie Eyesland Coloured Contact lens! (Small diameter lens)

Hello lovelies! I am back with another recommendation post!

So I received some request on Instagram asking about the coloured

lenses I got from Barbie Eyesland.

I personally prefer the small diameter lenses as it suit my eyes better.

For beginners who wants to try out these lenses, I would recommend starting from lens with smaller diameters.

Let's get right into the recommendation, shall we?

*PS: I tried them all of them but I don't keep photos for every single one of the lens. Some of them are also photos from my earlier blogging era haha...so please forgive the photo quality yea?

14mm diameter lens recommendation:

The natural series:

BABY SERIES

This is the very first series I bought from their shop! As you can see the decorative pattern is so minimal! This was once my daily lens until I decided to try more coloured contact lens.

IRIS SERIES

This series is very similar to the Spanish series from O-lens Korea. I think this is a nice daily lens even if you purchased their special colours, the effect is still very subtle.

EMMA SERIES

This is their new series of the month! These three colours has brown undertones which is very natural and soft. This series has very similar effect to their Pearl series. The brown ring on the outer edge makes your eyes to appear more defined.

HAILEY SERIES

Hailey series is the contact lens that I wore on my graduation day. My eyes appeared to be more define and also with very minimal enlarging effect which is good for photo shoots.

Eurasian Effect:

EURO SERIES

Euro is another series that offers light colour lens. Although the colour is very light, it is able to completely cover the natural colour of your iris.

GOLD TRICON SERIES

The decorative pattern are very strong and they offer a few unique colours. The on eye effect is very nice and the colours blends perfectly to your own iris colour.

Natural series:

SPARK SERIES

Another OG series that I love! This was the series that I used to repurchased in every order I placed for like a few years. I like the decorative pattern a lot! With or without makeup, this is a series worth the splurge.

NOBLE SERIES

Noble series is one of the top selling series in the shop. It is very natural for the brown colour but the grey colour offers you the minimal "Eurasian eye" effect.

Eurasian effect:

HONEY SERIES

What I like about this series is the light colour, decorative pattern, and also the minimal enlargement effect. The light colour provides the clear eye look and the decorative pattern is very unique.

URBAN SERIES

Do not miss out this series! This series is very very similar to Pony's 1st Street lens design! I personally recommend the green colour. The colour is very unique but it is not odd on the eyes.

DOLLY SERIES

Dolly series provides the doll eye and enlargement effect. I usually don't like lenses with enlarging effect, but the olive colour in this series is so gorgeous I just could not say no to this. (The one I wore in this photo was dolly grey)

Above are my recommendations for small diameter lens. I would be back with another recommendation for you guys/girls who love larger diameter lens.

Here are some good news for you guys!

In a few weeks time they will start to gift out this cat ear hairband if you purchase 3 or more coloured contact lens from their shop. They come in two colours, light blue and pink!

Maintaining and Cleaning of Contact Lenses

Wearing colour cosmetics contact lenses has become a norm to enhance the look nowadays. We can see that people in the entertainment industries such as the idols and the actors are often spotted with the use of colour cosmetics contact lenses.

So, here comes the issue. Do you really know how to clean or maintain your eyes and contact lenses? Well I myself searched up the internet and found out that there were actually cases where the eyesight were damaged due to improper cleaning and maintenance of the contact lens. Therefore, I am writing this post today to just remind and also inform you the right way to store and also clean your contact lenses...not only for hygiene purposes but also to maintain the eyesight.

Dos:

1. Wash your hands with soap (antibacterial if possible) and water BEFORE touching your contact lenses.

2. Use fresh contact lens cleaning solution every time.

3. Rub your contact lenses with your fingers while cleaning (even with “no-rub” contact cleaning solutions), then rinse with fresh cleaning solution.

4. Rinse your contact lens case with fresh solution, and leave it OVERTUNRNED and OPEN to dry.

5. Always keep your solution bottle capped.

6. Follow the instructions on the contact lens cleaning solution, contact lens and also storing solution.

7. Replace contact lens case every three months.

8. Always soak your new contact lens overnight before wearing.

9. Check the life span and expiry date of contact lenses before you wear.

10. Discard dry out contact lenses!

Don’ts:

1. Do not use saline solution, sterile water, saliva, tap water or rewetting drops to clean your lens (None of these serve to disinfect and clean your lens).

2. Don’t let your fingernails get in contact with the lenses. (Nails may scratch the lens and hide germs and dirt)

3. Do not reuse the cleaning and storing solution.

4. Do not clean your lens case with tap water (might contain impurities and microorganisms).

5. Avoid wearing contact lenses when you are battling with flu.
